FMA AN/PEQ 15 LA5-A Function version
l AN/PEQ 15 LA5-A is an evolved version of the standard AN/PEQ-15 Advanced Target Pointer/Illuminator/Aiming Light (ATPIAL). It is a compact, standalone laser aiming system that has three functions: visible laser aiming, visible white light illumination, and IR invisible laser aiming.
l The proven LA5-A is a weapon aiming system that can easily be attached to any M1913 Picatinny rail using a standard rail clamp. The co-aligned visible laser and IR inviAN/PEQ 15sible laser are conveniently adjustable. With the same basic dimensions as the AN/PEQ-15, the LA5-A is one of the most versatile, lightweight, and compact target pointers available. This device offers everything you need in a compact package. Its design allows for a lower mounting position on the rail and wraps around the Picatinny rail for a low-profile feature. This is achieved through the use of an inset rail mount. The embedded switch is located on the top of the housing, making it easy to operate in the field while wearing gloves. The body shell is made of high-density/impact-resistant polymer, making it very durable. This material reduces the weight of the device, which is noticeable when carrying it for extended periods. The LA5-A also features a rear-opening battery compartment, allowing users to remove the battery without taking off the device. The adjustment of the aiming laser is done with a tool flathead screwdriver, allowing users to zero the pointer in any environment. The LA5-A is a multi-functional aiming laser system that allows operators to easily switch modes to adapt to different environments. Its functionality is rich, with three modes that integrate multiple functions and modes into one device for the user.
l The new generation FMA AN/PEQ LA5-A Function version,launched by FMA, is an upgraded version based on the previous LA-5 model, with more detailed improvements and functional enhancements. It is now made of more reliable nylon material and has improved ergonomics for a more comfortable user experience. Many details and operating modes have been further improved, essentially meeting the users' requirements in terms of appearance. In particular, functional improvements have been made to improve battery consumption and internal structure, meeting users' needs in terms of aesthetics and basic functionality.
