FMA AN/PEQ-15 LA5-C Upgraded version
l AN/PEQ-15 LA5-C is the latest improved version of the standard AN/PEQ-15 Advanced Target Pointer/Illuminator/Aiming Light (ATPIAL). It is a compact, standalone laser aiming system that has three functions: visible laser aiming, IR invisible laser aiming, and LED white light illumination. It can be connected to any Picatinny rail through a standard rail clamp. The coaxial infrared and visible light aiming lasers are easy to adjust. AN/PEQ-15 LA5-C shares the same basic dimensions as the AN/PEQ-15 and is currently one of the most versatile, lightweight, and compact aiming lasers available. The device excels in providing everything you need in a compact package. Its design allows for lower mounting on the rail and wraps around the Picatinny rail for a low-profile feature. This is achieved by using a recessed rail mount. The embedded switch is located on the top of the housing, making it convenient to operate with gloves on in the field. The body housing is made of high-density/impact-resistant polymer, making it very durable. This material reduces the weight of the device, which is noticeable when carrying it for extended periods. AN/PEQ-15 LA5-C also features a rear-opening battery compartment, allowing users to remove the battery without taking off the device. The adjustment of the aiming laser is done with a tool flathead screwdriver, enabling users to zero the pointer in any environment. AN/PEQ-15 LA5-C is a versatile aiming laser system that allows operators to easily switch modes to adapt to different environments. Its functionality is rich, with three modes that integrate multiple functions and modes into one device for the user.
l The upgraded version of FMA AN/PEQ-15 LA5-C is a version that has undergone more detailed improvements and functional enhancements based on the previous generation AN/PEQ-15 LA-5A. It is made of more reliable nylon material and the operation feel has been improved to make it more comfortable to use. In particular, there have been one-to-one improvements in many appearance details. The lamp head has been replaced with aluminum alloy, the engraving on the mode switch has been adjusted, and some details on the mold have been improved. Additionally, the length of the battery cover has been improved to match the prototype design.
